Chompers the Tarantula

 It's been a couple of years since we found one of these so I thought that I would pass on a couple of pics.  Nicki caught it on the neighbor's drive way. The kids wanted to keep him, actually named him Chompers.  But after I saw him crawling out of the box that Jaron had made with water, leaves, and toys, I decided that was enough.  So we took him back on the hill and let him go. -- Brad

 He was very nice and he didn't run away.  He wasn't the biggest one we've seen but he was the most colorful. -- Hudson

I didn't hold him like the last one...their hairs make me itch.  It was sad to let him go on the mountain but he'll be happy there.  I hope to catch a new one soon we are looking out for them on our way home from school. -- Jaron
