Christensen's June 2010

This picture was taken in one of our favorite places, Washington Park. A peninsula on Fidalgo Island with a big park, Camping, a boat ramp and great picnic spots that look out toward the islands. You can watch the Washington State Ferry, and other boats come and go in the channel. We also like to find "Sammy the One-eyed Seal" swimming in the bay! We have seen dolphins several times near the island just behind us, and nearly missed a pod of Orcas, our neighbors spotted.
