Mom's Update

Hi kids,  I surely love you all!  Have a great week!

Kristi thanks for the pictures!  I'm having them copied so I can put them in your book with your letters.  It was fun to see you in your new element!

This week has been busy.  I've been trying to get the housework done so the house will be clean when I come home from my surgery this week.  We couldn't get the boat running so we didn't end up going to Bear Lake like we planned.  Heidi and Kody's families went on Friday and had fun in the sunshine on Saturday too.  Kayla ended up having to play with the marching band for the football game on Friday so I guess it was good we couldn't go anyway.  We wanted to pick her up on the way.  Any way,  USU beat U of U on Friday and I guess it was quite an exciting game.

Jodie worked all day on Saturday on her homework, from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm straight with short breaks to eat.  I said: "Wow, what would you have done if we went to Bear Lake?"  She said she still isn't done.  This is what I don't like about school.  We have no time for anything else.  I'm glad she is dedicated and will work so hard to do her best.

Saturday Wade went to Deer Valley to use the Bike tickets our neighbor gave us and Bryce's Family had tickets too from a guy in their Ward so they saw each other.  Bryce's family rode the lifts up and hiked down the mountain and Wade rode up and biked down with his friends.  Little Jersey looked so tired.  Her legs were stiff and she had dirt on her nose.  She layed on the couch and waited for some pizza we had for dinner. Little Tephton is getting bigger and seems like such an easy going baby.  He always seems so calm and happy.  Brundle and Brittin were excited to tell me about their new classes at school.

Kody, and Blake's families came for dinner today, Sunday.  It was fun to see them. Ashten's Birthday is Tuesday, she will be 5.  She is excited about that and Aiden told me a little about his church class today.  Blake brought his Documentary about the Dominican Republic Project.  That was his final for that class and he did an awesome job!  It was really good. Elli is getting bigger and is so cute when she babbles.

Today Jodie was awarded her Young Womenhood Medalion. She looked so beautiful and the Bishop told some of the things that she accomplished during her mutual time.  It was a very nice presentation and I know Jodie will continue to be a great example to the other girls in the Ward. They are going to the Temple on Wednesday so she was excited about that.  I'm trying to get some names for them to do for our family.

Kristi we look forward to your letters each week and are so glad you have a positive attitude about your work.  I know the Lord will bless you as you strive to do your best.  I hope you know that we are all praying for you and that we love you and that we are being blessed for your service.
I'll close with a quote from President Eyring, "God will put prepared people in the way of His prepared servants who want to share the gospel."  Kristi you are preparing for those that God is preparing for you to teach.  Keep doing your best and believe and trust that he will do the rest!  I love you so much.

Love,  Mom xoxoxoxoxoxoxox
