Slip & Slide

Here is what Hoover's have been saying about our latest Family Adventure...The GIANT slip and slide!  Thanks everyone for a great time!

Thursday was Nicki's Slip and Slide party.  She borrowed one of those huge tarps from Grant Kohler's farm and made a giant slide down this huge hill (like taller than our house) that is behind the Bountiful Stake Center.  You could slide, fast the entire length of the plastic!  All the kids came and the Moms and also Dad and Blake.  The rest of the Dad's had to work but Nicki wanted to do it while Ethan and Noah were here visiting their Grandma Christensen for their Summer break.  I took a movie so you'll all have to see it sometime.  It was really fun! --- Mom

We were excited to have the Hoover Cousins come for a family giant slip and slide party!  We did the party while the Christensen boys were in town to join us and we all had a BLAST!  The slip and slide is GIANT and all the cousins, Aunties, and even Grandpa had a great time sliding down!  The most fun is to slide down in big chains and everyone had huge smiles all the way down and all the way back up again!!  We slid for HOURS!  We had yummy snacks like watermellon and snow cones and had fun playing in the baby pool and just visiting together.  A BIG GIANT thanks to Grandpa for helping us get the tarp we used this year!!!...we are all hoping he can get us another one next year! --- Nicki

A bunch of the Hoovers got together to Slip n' Slide! not just any slide a HUGE one! We had so much fun! Elli was all smiles and loved going down the slide - at the bottom she would just giggle, Blake was lots of fun taking everyone down and doing fun tricks, Canyon hung out with Grandma alot, Heidi enjoyed doing a daring thing after being pregnant, and Elli ate about 7 pieces of water melon. There was a little kid pool that was just right for Elli and we ate snow cones too! Its just so fun to hang out with the cousins. --- Heidi H.

*We hope next year we can have everyone come! Grant Kohler said we can have the tarp to keep so we can do it again next year...YEA!!!!!
